Little Bear Fire — Waterfall Table
Crafted from a ~350-year-old juniper recovered after the Little Bear Fire in Ruidoso, New Mexico, this 8-foot waterfall table preserves the character of a tree that stood for centuries. The wood, Juniperus monosperma — one-seed juniper — carries natural fire markings stabilized with metal flake epoxy and turquoise inlay.
Measuring approximately 8 feet long, 25 inches wide, and 2.5 inches thick, the piece preserves an estimated ~40 kg of carbon, equal to roughly ~150 kg of CO₂ equivalent stored in the wood.
